There are 10 scratch patterns in total which you can switch between by simply moving the playhead position on the jog wheel display. If you are a rekordbox user you can customised and create your own effect patterns, with over 41 effects available in total. The patterns can generate increases in pitch of your song, snare rolls and much more. It works by selecting one of the eight patterns and dialing the knob until you are ready to drop the next track. With Merge FX you can twist the knob to create tension and turn it fast or slow depending on what you desire. Switching between genres can be one of the hardest tasks as a DJ, the difference in BPM and drum patterns can make it impossible.
